The seminars include seminars within the programme as well as joint seminars together with the doctoral programme at Malmö Art Academy, in which the 

Malmö Art Academy has no separate departments. Malmö Art Academy is a department at Lund University which has been offering higher education in fine arts since 1995. Together with the Academy of Music and the Theatre Academy, Malmö Art Academy is part of the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts in Malmö, one of nine faculties within Lund University. The four-year postgraduate programme in Fine Art is the first of its kind in Sweden. The programme is directed towards the visual arts, music and theatre. This postgraduate programme builds on artistic knowledge and work. The main emphasis of the study is on independent artistic development.

The Malmö Academy of Music educates musicians, composers, music teachers, and church musicians. We are an academy for musicians who want to attain the highest possible level in his or her artistic expression, or inspire and develop people's interest in music into a life-long passion as a music teacher.

We have approximately 800 students at the Malmö Academy of Music, the majority of them studying master’s and bachelor’s programmes with the aim of becoming professional musicians, composers, church musicians, or music teachers. There are also research programmes in the areas of Music Education and Artistic Research in Music, as well as a wide range of independent courses.
